Before a practice is supplied through a network pharmacy, we confirm through board of pharmacy records that the pharmacy holds current resident or non-resident licensure in the state where that practice operates. Licensure is re-verified on a recurring schedule.

ATRx invoices the practice for preparations supplied and is the practice's point of contact for order status, billing questions, and account support — one relationship instead of separate accounts with multiple pharmacies.
Compounding under Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act is patient-specific by law. Our model is built around that requirement.
Every compounded preparation is dispensed by a licensed pharmacy pursuant to a valid, patient-specific prescription from a licensed prescriber with an established practitioner–patient relationship. ATRx supplies no preparation for office stock or general inventory.
Practices are supplied only through pharmacies licensed in the state where the practice and patient are located, verified against board of pharmacy records.
ATRx supplies exclusively licensed healthcare practices and practitioners acting within their scope of practice. We do not sell or market to consumers or patients, and we operate no online store or checkout.
ATRx does not own, operate, or hold a financial interest in any pharmacy in its network. Each pharmacy is independently owned and solely responsible for its own pharmacy practice and regulatory compliance.

The practice submits professional license, DEA registration where applicable, and practice information. ATRx verifies it before the account is activated.
ATRx identifies a network 503A pharmacy licensed in the practice's state and confirms it can supply the preparations the practice needs.
The prescriber submits patient-specific prescriptions directly to the dispensing pharmacy. ATRx does not originate, modify, or transmit prescriptions.
The pharmacy compounds, dispenses, and ships directly to the practice under its own license and shipping arrangements, and invoices ATRx. ATRx invoices the practice. ATRx assists with order status but never physically handles product.
