1. Who we are
ATRx LLC, an Alabama limited liability company ("ATRx," "we," "us"), operates the website at atrx.net. This policy explains what information we collect through the site and through our supply, ordering, and account services, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit our contact form or open an account, we collect your name, organization, work email, phone number, state of practice, reason for inquiry, and the content of your message. During credentialing we also collect professional license numbers, DEA registration where applicable, practice address, and the tax and banking information needed for invoicing.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages viewed, for security and reliability purposes.
Cookies and analytics. This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers. Our form provider uses a spam-prevention field only. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy before doing so.
What not to send us through this site. Please do not submit patient information, prescriptions, or protected health information through the contact form. It is not a secure channel for PHI.
3. Protected health information
ATRx does not dispense drugs and does not originate, transmit, or store prescriptions in the ordinary course of its services. Prescriptions travel directly between the prescriber and the dispensing pharmacy. If, in the course of order and account administration, ATRx receives protected health information ("PHI") from a practice or pharmacy, and ATRx acts as a business associate under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act ("HIPAA"), we handle that PHI in accordance with a written business associate agreement and applicable HIPAA requirements, and use or disclose it only as that agreement and the law permit. PHI is never used for marketing and is never sold.
4. How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and provide the Services;
- To verify professional licensure and account eligibility;
- To source preparations for a practice from an appropriately licensed pharmacy, place orders, and administer the account;
- To invoice practices, process and reconcile payments, issue credits and refunds, and maintain financial records;
- To maintain security, prevent fraud and diversion, and troubleshoot problems;
- To comply with legal, regulatory, and record-retention obligations.
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Network pharmacies — to place and fulfill orders for your practice and to arrange direct shipment to you;
- Service providers — website hosting, form processing, payment processing, accounting, and IT support, each bound to confidentiality and permitted to use the information only to provide that service;
- Legal and regulatory — where required by law, subpoena, or a lawful request from a board of pharmacy, licensing authority, or law enforcement;
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy;
- With your direction — where you ask us to share information on your behalf.
6. Data security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold, including encryption in transit (TLS), access controls limiting access to personnel with a business need, and diligence on our vendors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services and to satisfy legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory retention requirements — generally seven (7) years after the end of the account relationship — after which it is deleted or de-identified. Any PHI retention is governed by the applicable business associate agreement.
8. Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by writing to info@atrx.net. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. Some information must be retained to meet legal obligations. Depending on your state of residence you may have additional rights, including the right to know what personal information we collect and to opt out of its sale — ATRx does not sell personal information. You may unsubscribe from any non-transactional email using the link in that message.
9. Children
The site and Services are directed to licensed healthcare professionals and are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Third-party links
The site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with a revised "Last updated" date. If the changes are material, we will provide additional notice where required by law.
